Fullerton’s Franklin Signs With Chargers

Cal State Fullerton running back Eric Franklin signed as a free agent with the San Diego Chargers Friday. Franklin, who is 5-foot 11-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds, played prep football at Santa Ana High School.

Franklin, 23, who rushed for only 47 yards in his junior season at Fullerton, gained 905 yards last season. He ended his career at Fullerton with 5 consecutive 100-yard games.
