Florida Sinkhole Swallows Home, Menaces 2 Others

SEBRING, Fla. —
A large sinkhole quickly swallowed a house and two others teetered on the edge in a subdivision near this central Florida town, authorities said Saturday. Just two hours after it opened Friday night, the hole had grown to 70 yards wide and 15 feet deep, officials said. No injuries were reported.
