For Laughs, She Takes Al

How could Mel Tolkin (who complained on April 24 about Al Martinez’s column on the Writers Guild strike) write for “Your Show of Shows” when he obviously doesn’t have a sense of humor?

On second thought, maybe Mr. Tolkin is right, and as punishment for maligning the Writers Guild, Elmer should be force to write five columns a week for the Los Angeles Times.
