Teamsters President Jackie Presser, who underwent cancer surgery in l987,is ill again and may request a third delay in his racketeering trial, a published report in Ohio says. TheAkron Beacon JHournal reported it learned from union sources that Presser, who had a cancerous lung removed in January, 1987, has had a “serious regression” in the past two months. Presser and two other union officials are charged with overseeing a $700,000 payroll padding scheme ast Local 507 in Cleveland.
