Gish Biomedical Inc., a Santa Ana manufacturer of specialty surgical devices, reported net income of $214,000 in its third fiscal quarter ended March 31, up 8% from net income of $198,000 for the third quarter of fiscal 1987. The figures included an extraordinary federal income tax credit of $12,000 in the third quarter of fiscal 1988 and $56,000 in the same quarter of fiscal 1987. Third quarter sales were $3.2 million in fiscal 1988, up 23% from sales of $2.6 million in the third quarter of fiscal 1987. For the first nine months of fiscal 1988, Gish posted net income of $739,000, up 64% from $450,000 for the comparable period a year earlier. Sales were $9.1 million, up 30% from $7 million.
