California Commercial Bankshares, the holding company for National Bank of Southern California in Santa Ana, posted record net income of $354,841 in the first quarter, a 10% increase over $323,869 in net income in last year’s first quarter. Total quarterly revenues, excluding revenue from a mortgage division discontinued last year, rose 17% to $3.5 million from $3 million. The company’s total assets rose 11% to $139.8 million at the end of March from $126.5 million a year earlier. Total deposits at National Bank rose 11% to $127.6 million at the end of the quarter from $115 million a year earlier, while gross loans grew 2% to $89.6 million from $88 million.
