NORCO, La. —
Emergency crews searching the smoldering wreckage of a refinery discovered two bodies today, raising the death toll to three and leaving four men missing in the blast that shattered plate-glass windows 30 miles away.
Wendy Jacobs, a Shell spokeswoman, said the two were among six employees who had been missing since the explosion Thursday morning. At least 42 other people were injured in the blast in a catalytic cracker.
