Terminal Data Reports 2nd Quarter Improvement

Terminal Data earned $28,000, or 1 cent a share, in the second quarter ended March 31 compared to a loss of $96,000, or 2 cents a share, a year earlier. Sales rose 5% to $7.1 million.

For the six months, the Moorpark company, which makes equipment used to convert documents to images that can be stored on disks and on microfilm, said it earned $215,000, or 5 cents a share, with sales rising 7% to $13.8 million.
