From the “Would Barbara Walters put up with this?” file: Fawn Hall, so confident and outspoken during last summer’s Iran-Contra hearings, makes her interviewing debut on today’s “Hour Magazine” (KTTV Channel 11 at noon). And being pitted against veteran talk show host Larry King could give any neophyte the jitters. In the interview, previewed by The Times, King--stumping for his new book, “Tell It to the King,”--praised her when she asked what he considered to be “good” questions or “good” transitions and closed by kidding her that her “terrible” looks had no place on the tube. Hall--criticized in some TV reviews for her poor, stilted diction--pronounced King’s book, “Telt the King.” Most overrehearsed line: “It’s great to meet you, Larry. I’ve never met a king before.”
