A rocket-propelled grenade exploded at the U.S. Embassy in the Yemen capital of Sana, slightly damaging the building but causing no casualties, the State Department said. There was no claim of responsibility for the attack, which spokeswoman Phyllis Oakley said occurred in the evening, when only two Marine security guards were at the embassy. The State Department said earlier that it believes the Palestine Liberation Organization is planning attacks on American targets, but, asked if the PLO is suspected in the Sana attack, Oakley said, “There is no way we can make such an evaluation.”
