AND WE LEAVE YOU WITH . . . : Toto vocalist Joseph Williams, who probably wants a souped-up per diem after the band’s recent tour of Japan. Williams expense report included such steep trade-imbalanced prices as $6 for a cup of coffee, $20 for a hamburger, $30 for a continental breakfast and $40 for a bottle of Vitamin C. Williams quipped: “Waking up here is a conflict of interest, because sleep is just about the only thing that’s free.” . . . Rock fans should wear their batting helmets if they’re coming out to watch the T.J. Martell Celebrity Rock ‘n’ Roll Softball Game next Saturday at USC’s Dedeaux Field. The music-industry charity affair features a triple-header (starting at 10:30 a.m) with KLOS-FM taking on a team of record execs as well as a team from KNAC-FM. The grudge-match finale will star a pair of celeb teams--the Rockers, captained by Motley Crue’s Vince Neil, vs. the Rollers, headed by Richard Marx. Neil’s teammates include members of Ratt, Faster Pussycat, the Crue, Great White and Whitesnake, while Marx will have the aid of such sluggers as Slim Jim Phantom, REO’s Kevin Cronin, Chicago’s Robert Lamb, Fee Waybill, producer David Foster and actor Michael Pare. Tickets are available for $5 through Ticketmaster outlets, with proceeds going to the Martell Foundation, which funds leukemia, cancer and AIDS research.
