15 Hurt in Clashes of Police, Soccer Fans Over Penalty

PATRAS, Greece —
Fifteen people were hurt in clashes between riot police and soccer fans near the port of Patras on Thursday night after the local first division team was penalized for fielding a banned player, police said.
About 300 fans of the Panahaiki team set fire to barricades halting traffic on the national highways near this Peloponnesian port, 130 miles northwest of Athens, police said Friday.
