TouchStone Software reported first-quarter net income of $20,006. It had a loss of $40,589 for the year-earlier period. Revenue was $321,594, 73% higher than the $185,749 posted in the first quarter last year.

Larry Dingus, TouchStone chairman and chief executive officer, attributed the higher revenue to a previously announced software licensing agreement with Ford Motor Co., which amounted to 44% of the quarter’s revenues.

TouchStone, of Seal Beach, develops and markets software that provides compatibility for various computers and networks.
