California State University, Northridge, held its 30th annual commencement Friday. Degrees were conferred on 5,521 students, including 830 who received master’s degrees.
Keynote Speaker: James Cleary, president of Cal State Northridge, said: “The truly educated is one who possesses a self-esteem or pride gained from the college experience but tempered with a set of ethical values in the use of that knowledge in dealing with others.”
