Gun Accident Kills Sergeant at Ft. Sill

LAWTON, Okla. —
A member of the Oklahoma National Guard was shot and killed in a training accident at Ft. Sill, a guard spokesman said Friday.
The guard said Sgt. Kristine M. Hinson, 26, was struck late Thursday by a round fired from an M-60 machine gun being prepared for a night training exercise. She died in surgery.
