British Delay Decision on Budd’s Eligibility
British track officials will not decide the question of Zola Budd’s eligibility to run for Britain until she returns from a self-imposed rest period in her native South Africa.

Budd left Britain two weeks ago, suffering from nervous exhaustion and facing a one-year ban from international competition because of links with her homeland.
South Africa is banned from international sport because of its apartheid policies.
