Twin-Engine Jet Crash Kills 4 but Misses Homes

WEST PATERSON, N. J. —
A twin-engine Learjet crashed and exploded Tuesday, killing two crew members and two passengers, authorities said. No one was injured on the ground as the plane plowed into a hillside, narrowly missing several houses, authorities said. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
