Overcoming the Cycle of Poverty in Los Angeles Housing Projects
- Share via
Your story on public housing caught my eye and I would like to point out that, among other reasons for the “downward spiral,” one woman had eight children and one had five--all this without a place to keep them and no money to feed them. Methinks a course from a parenthood planning group would be of some use to them, however late.
Children are wonderful, but the fact remains that children require some basic elements, such as warm clothing and nutritious food for starters. It also helps to have a roof over one’s head and caring parents.
In the wild, animals without a food source do not reproduce.
