Amperif Corp. has named Walter Tuchman as senior vice president of product development. Tuchman, 55, will manage the Chatsworth company’s engineering department and a development lab in Colorado. He replaces Willi Jilke, who resigned to start his own business.

Amperif is a developer and supplier of storage systems for mainframe computers.
