VIDEO CHARTS : Schwarzenegger, Keaton Zoom to Top

Arts and entertainment reports from The Times, national and international news services and the nation's press.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “The Running Man” and Diane Keaton’s “Baby Boom” both made it to the Top Five of the Billboard magazine rental chart in just two weeks. But it’s unlikely that either will have the clout to unseat the leader, “The Untouchables,” before “Fatal Attraction”--out this week--enters the chart and begins its expected long reign at the top. “Steel Dawn” (No. 22) is doing decent rental business, apparently because a large portion of the female population is swooning over its star--Patrick Swayze of “Dirty Dancing”--and is renting anything in which he’s featured.

* “Can’t Buy Me Love,” starring Patrick Dempsey, is more frivolous teen fare from Touchstone Video, which also has the smash teen-oriented rental in “Adventures in Babysitting.” With summer--the frivolous-teen-fare season--just around the corner, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,” which debuted on the rental chart at No. 12, could do well.
