Family and friends of Robert F. Kennedy will mark the 20th anniversary of his assassination today with a memorial Mass at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. The evening service will be held at Kennedy’s grave, near the body of his brother, President John F. Kennedy, who was slain in 1963. The Mass is open to the public and thousands of people are expected to attend. Rep. Joseph Kennedy (D-Mass.), the second oldest of Robert Kennedy’s 10 surviving children, will deliver a remembrance of his father, who was shot June 5, 1968, in Los Angeles after winning the California Democratic presidential primary. He died the next day at age 42.
