Government to Revive Hurricane Hot Line

WASHINGTON —
The government’s Hurricane Hotline will be reactivated when tropical storms threaten the nation, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced Monday.
The hot line will provide a timely recorded message whenever a named tropical storm develops, with information provided by the National Hurricane Center in Coral Gables, Fla. The number is 1-900-410-NOAA.
