USC Pioneering Dual Degree in Business, Realty
USC has launched a program leading to a master of business administration/master of real estate development degree, with its first students being enrolled in the fall.
The program, reportedly provides the first dual degree in the country and was developed in response to the need for more broadly skilled professionals in the real estate development industry. Its co-directors are David Dale-Johnson of the USC School of Business Administration and Richard B. Peiser of the USC School of Urban and Regional Planning.
The 24-month full-time program directed at students who know they want to go into real estate development but lack the business background, will enroll five to six students who meet the full requirements of both schools.
