AIA Committee to Discuss L.A. Growth Measure
The first meeting of the reorganized energy committee of the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley chapters of the American Institute of Architects will be held Monday, 7:30 p.m., at 5567 Reseda Blvd., Suite 209, Tarzana.
The new committee will address growth-control issues in the wake of the recent decision by the Los Angeles City Council to reduce the number of building permits by 30% to ease the impact on the city’s inadequate sewer system, according to Richard Schoen and John Fisher, the co-chairman of the committee.
