‘Chicanos Hit a Nerve in Mexico’
I believe that Del Olmo’s column missed the boat. The issue really has little to do with American intervention or Mexican pride. It goes much deeper than that. It has to do with equity, basic justice and political honesty. It has to do with respect for fellow citizens and more than just convenient lip service to a misty concept of democracy.
