InterDyne, a computer parts company in Mission Viejo, reported that John R. Morrison has resigned as chairman. Morrison gave no reason for his resignation, company spokesman William Ballon said Friday. InterDyne, which makes digital tape drives for storing computer data, reported a loss of $2 million on sales of $3 million for its 1987 fiscal year, which ended July 31. The company, which is publicly held, has not filed more recent financial disclosure statements, Ballon said. InterDyne, which employs 10 people, said it is holding discussions with private investors to raise “needed working capital.” Ballon said the firm will postpone hiring a new chairman pending the outcome of those discussions.
