Two more escapees, including a former soldier who pleaded guilty in two Ninja-style slayings, were captured outside Fayetteville, N. C., leaving one of six men who broke out of jail at large, authorities said. The capture of Jeffrey K. Meyer, 21, and Jerry Ronald Pond Jr., 25, came a week after the six inmates had cut through a steel bar in their cellblock at Cumberland County Jail. Meanwhile, the search for five Kentucky State Penitentiary escapees expanded to Tennessee after authorities received complaints that three people were trying to flag down cars near Dover.
