Local News in Brief : Costa Mesa : OCC Alumni Assn. Gets New President

Michael B. Collier, owner of Night Shadows Landscape Lighting in Costa Mesa, is the new president of the Orange Coast College Alumni Assn.

Collier, who took office this month, will serve as president for the next two years. He succeeds the founding president of the alumni group, Terry McCardle, owner of Century 21/The Real Estaters.

Collier received his associate of arts degree from Orange Coast College in 1976. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Redlands.

The new vice president of the OCC Alumni Assn. is William J. O’Neill, a partner in Jansen-O’Neill Productions, a Laguna Hills company. Olin S. Hackney, owner of Twinkies Maintenance Service in Newport Beach, is treasurer. Claudia Jackson, a member of the Orange Coast College Library staff, is the secretary for the alumni group.
