Local News in Brief : Slaying Victims Identified
Two bodies discovered in a remote area of San Diego County have been identified as the victims in a Burbank murder investigation.
The bodies were identified by coroner’s officials as Violeta Cirdei, 24, and her husband, Constantin, 27.
Violeta Cirdei’s former husband, Dumitru Pop, 35, of Hollywood, has been charged with the murders. On Tuesday, Pop led police to the bodies buried in the Cleveland National Forest, Burbank police said.
