Supervisor Kenneth Hahn, who underwent prostate surgery last week, has cancerous tissue and will undergo radiation therapy, his doctors said today.

Dr. George Yamauchi, a urologist, and Dr. Michael Perlman, Hahn’s personal physician, said in a prepared statement that Hahn would be treated on an outpatient basis and that “his prognosis is excellent.” The radiation therapy is scheduled to begin sometime in the next month. Hahn, 67, who is wheelchair-bound and still recovering from a stroke suffered last year, underwent prostate surgery June 22 at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital. He was discharged today.
