Congressman Markey Weds Washington Doctor

WASHINGTON —
Rep. Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Dr. Susan Blumenthal were married Sunday in a private ceremony.
Markey, 41, is serving his sixth term in the House and is chairman of the subcommittee on telecommunications and finance. Blumenthal, 37, is director of behavioral medicine at the National Institute of Mental Health and an associate professor at Georgetown University Medical School.
