1,300 Seized in S. Africa Drive Against Crime

DURBAN, South Africa —
More than 1,300 people were arrested during an anti-crime drive in South Africa’s Natal province over the weekend, police said Monday.
Those arrested were alleged to be involved in crimes ranging from murder to drunken driving. Police also said they found a factory for making crude weapons.
