Group Sessions to Focus on AIDS

Part of a new program being sponsored by Christ Chapel Metropolitan Community Church of Santa Ana is “Challenging AIDS,” a support group and healing circle for persons inflicted with acquired immune deficiency syndrome and related diseases, according to Christ Chapel’s pastor, the Rev. D. Dennis Chappell.

The group meetings will include guest speakers and video presentations.

Sessions will be based on these publications: “Love and Healing Taught in the Holy Bible”; “You Can Heal Your Life,” a book by Louise L. Hay; “Love, Medicine and Miracles” by Dr. Bernie S. Siegel; “Getting Well Again” by Dr. O. Carl Simonton, and “Jesus Wants You Well” written by C.S. Lovett.

St. Andrew’s New Youth Choir will present “Choose,” a youth musical, on Sunday at 7 p.m. at 600 St. Andrews Road, Newport Beach. The contemporary musical, composed by Jeff Kenedy, deals with choices that young people face while learning to take responsibility for their actions in difficult times.
