Shearson Lehman Hutton has included Home Federal Savings & Loan in its annual list of 10 stocks that are considered to be “particularly attractive investments,” the New York-based securities firm said Friday.

S&Ls; have appeared on the list only three times since Shearson introduced the annual listing in 1949, according to Home Fed spokeswoman Monica Wiley.

The diversified companies on the list “should also respond positively . . . to an increased interest in U.S. assets by foreign investors, relatively large institutional and individual cash positions and the continuing merger and acquisition activity,” according to Jack Rivkin, Shearson’s New York-based director of equity research.
