Guatemala will replace Mexico’s banished soccer team at the Seoul Olympics, FIFA, soccer’s world governing body, announced.

Guatemala finished second to Mexico in the qualifying group comprised of North and Central America and the Caribbean.

Mexico was banned from international competition for two years after being charged last week with using over-age players in World Junior Cup qualifying competition.
