The chairman of System Integrators Inc. may acquire the Sacramento-based producer of electronic publishing systems, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. James P. Lennane, who owns 43% of SII, has offered to acquire all the company’s shares at $7.25 each, on the condition of unanimous approval from SII’s board and its stockholders’ financial adviser.
