Rethinking Our Public Libraries
Aronoff might see an increase in the number of people who use the library if there were a simple way to get a card. I came here 20 years ago and attempted to get a card. Somewhere in the Los Angeles library system is a record that I or someone with my same surname did not return a book. I have been turned down four times for a card despite my requests to the clerks to please research this record. I gave up.
