How Dare Anyone Criticize Lakers Now
It seems that, for the Lakers, winning alone just isn’t enough. They are also judged on how they look while winning. The Lakers have been belittled for years because of their Showtime image.
Now they win the supposedly East Coast way--with aggressive defense and a never-say-die attitude--and still there are those who complain. Apparently, Boston and Detroit can win ugly, but shame on the Lakers for doing so.
The Lakers have earned respect even though there are those who still aren’t willing to grant it to them.
