The International Foundation for Training in the Arts announced Monday it has engineered a drama student swap between the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union, with a group of young Soviet actors going in September to the Royal Shakespeare Company and British drama students visiting the Moscow Art Theater School. The swap, the first such between the two countries, is the first effort of the newly formed foundation, whose supporters include such luminaries as Vanessa Redgrave, Peter Ustinov, Dame Peggy Ashcroft and leading Soviet actor-director Oleg Tabakov. The return British visit will be in April 1989.
