In your editorial (“Heat and Hostility,” July 10) you state that Consumers Union is a member of the Consumer Insurance Reform Coalition. We are not. Consumers Union is not a member of any insurance coalition or campaign committee.
We have endorsed both Proposition 100 and Proposition 103. We believe that both of these initiatives are a step forward for California consumers. Both of these initiatives would take California closer to sanity in the insane world of skyrocketing insurance rates.
