Wife of Zimbabwe Official Shot to Death

HARARE, Zimbabwe —
Sheila Hove, wife of Zimbabwe’s minister of mines, Richard Hove, was shot dead by the manager of the family farm who then killed himself, state television reported.
Witnesses said on television that the manager beat her Wednesday after an argument and then shot her as she tried to drive away from the farm, about 10 miles from the central town of Gweru. Her husband was not at home at the time.
