Bradley Leaves on Trip to Five Nations in Asia
Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley takes wing again this weekend, flying to Asia to begin a two-week trip billed as a trade mission by city officials.
While many fellow Democrats were headed to Atlanta for their convention, Bradley departed Saturday with Port of Los Angeles officials for visits to Japan, China, Hong Kong and the Philippines. An unofficial visit to Taiwan is also scheduled, Bradley’s office said.
Last year the mayor spent two weeks in Asia and also made trips to Germany and Africa.
