You loved the film, now read the comic book: On Aug. 16, Marvel Comics will issue a 48-page graphic novel based on the Touchstone/Amblin hit “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.” Although Marvel vice president/publishing Mike Hobson predicts the book “will bring a huge new audience to comic books and graphic novels,” it will be difficult to reproduce the film’s extraordinary blending of animation and live action in a comic-book format.
