Shunji Nakajima has been appointed president of Asics Tiger Corp., a manufacturer of athletic shoes and apparel. The Santa Ana company is the U.S. subsidiary of Asics Corp. of Japan. Nakajima succeeds Shoji Kitami, who has returned to Japan for reassignment after seven years as president. Before his appointment, Nakajima was a senior managing director of Asics Corp., in charge of the athletic apparel division.
