Cohu Inc. reported a second-quarter profit of $684,000 on sales of $8.9 million, up from a profit of $417,000 on sales of $7.3 million reported for the same three months last year. For the six months ended June 30, Cohu’s profit was $1.2 million on sales of $17 million, up from a profit of $765,000 on sales of $14.4 million for the year-ago period.
