Lampley to Anchor KCBS News

Jim Lampley, who spent the first 14 years of his television career covering sports, will switch to anchoring the 5 p.m. news at KCBS on Aug. 1, the station announced today. Lampley, who has been serving as a vacation substitute on the station’s news shows this month, will leave sports broadcasting.
