Southern California Gas Co. promoted two more men to senior vice president in a reorganization that it said will better enable the utility to operate at a time of natural gas deregulation and the resulting competition for industrial gas markets.
Lee K. Harrington, now vice president-administrative services, will head the utility’s gas transmission and underground storage, distribution, engineering and research and administrative services. James T. Pollard, now vice president of information systems at the utility’s parent Pacific Enterprises, becomes head of consumer services, public affairs and SoCal Gas operations in nine distribution divisions. The changes take effect Aug. 1.
