City Fees
Here the Los Angeles City Council and the mayor go again! As water shortages recur every few years, they find a way to enrich City Hall. The water conservation ordinance requires a fee for having a building inspector certify that one of the few approved “certified water conservation retrofitters” has changed the shower heads, toilet tanks, etc. before a building can be sold. What an opportunity to once more gouge homeowners!
All our representatives care about is enriching city coffers with hefty Building Department fees and yet another layer of bureaucrats and grateful licensees.
