Embassy Bombing in Chile

SANTIAGO, Chile —
A bomb exploded Tuesday in an empty lot near the South African Embassy, an embassy spokesman said. Marius Louw said the bomb smashed windows and damaged a wall of the embassy, in a fashionable neighborhood of Santiago. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
