Yields on two-year Treasury notes rose in Wednesday’s auction to the highest level since last September. The average yield was 8.41%, up from 8.05% at the last auction on June 22. It was the highest rate since two-year notes averaged 8.57% on Sept. 29. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 8.375%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,993.70. A total of $8.78 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $23.52 billion.
